Technical documentation

Technical documentation is an important part of any product. Besides describing the equipment, the documentation must also be used for its operation and management, as well as for maintenance and repair.

Others

In the technical department in Prague, we create technical documentation for our industrial automation products. This documentation is intended for end customers who use our products and is freely downloadable on the Siemens website. We provide an adequate level of information for each target group, from easy-to-understand "Getting Started" guides to detailed system descriptions. As we write in German, advanced knowledge of this language is an essential competence. We also add graphics to the documentation, take care of its layout and final archiving. For our work, we use advanced content management systems (CMS), a terminology database and last but not least grammar and style-checking tools. Throughout the documentation process we work closely with our colleagues in development departments across the Siemens Group.
